Skilled electricians plan power budgets in prep, size power packs to load, and route and protect cable safely on set.

Here is what we have to work with. Indonesia's tropical climate drives each specs, so power packs and distribution are rated for hot, humid running, fuel logistics are planned for remote sites, and connectors, boards and cable are weatherproofed against sudden downpours and the corrosive effects of salt air near the coast. We work to the 230V/50Hz Indonesian mains and give conditioning and stable power where the grid is unreliable or absent. The two production centres of Jakarta and Bali hold the deepest gear inventory, with pro kit supplemented from Jakarta and, where needed, from Singapore. Foreign shoots need filming permits, and ATA carnets are accepted for incoming power and distribution gear. English is widely used in the film-services sector, above all in Bali, so global shoots set up power planning with local crew easily. The dry season, roughly April or May to September or October, eases fuel logistics and remote-site access.
