Moodboard & Lookbook Creation

Here is the breakdown. We create moodboards that give a production a shared, precise visual reference before a frame is shot. Our designers translate a brief, script or treatment into curated boards covering palette, lighting, texture, composition, styling and locations. Directors, agencies and crew align early on the look the project is chasing. For shoots filming in Indonesia we ground those boards in what the country can genuinely deliver, sampling reference from Bali's temple build style and rice terraces, Jakarta's urban layers, the volcanic landscapes of Mount Bromo and Mount Agung, and the marine environments of Raja Ampat and Komodo.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. We build boards as polished digital documents that travel well to local crew and visiting clients alike. We keep them connected to production reality by flagging where a desired image depends on the dry-season window or on archipelago logistics. The moodboard becomes a working tool that carries the creative intent cleanly from pitch into prep and onto the set. Indonesia gives an exceptionally deep well of visual reference to draw a moodboard from.

Here is how the picture comes together. Cultural heritage recognised by UNESCO has batik textiles with their intricate motifs, wayang shadow puppetry and the layered sound and look of gamelan performance. Over 1,300 ethnic groups give costume, craft, ornament and build style huge variety under the motto 'Bhinneka Tunggal Ika'. The landscape adds just as much: terraced subak rice fields in Bali, the world's largest Buddhist temple at Borobudur, around 130 active volcanoes along the Ring of Fire, and the coral wilderness of Raja Ampat.

Here is what we have to work with. Equatorial light is steady year-round with a rapid, dramatic dusk, a quality worth capturing in any board. Indonesian filmmakers, from Joko Anwar's folklore-soaked horror to the stark Sumba landscapes of 'Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts', show how distinctive this material can be. We bring that reference depth so moodboards feel specifically Indonesian rather than generically tropical.
