Here is what that looks like on the ground. We set up challenge construction with local build teams, manage safety on in person demanding setups, and handle the filming-permit planning foreign shoots route through the relevant authorities. Archipelago logistics, getting crew, kit and contestants between islands on the domestic flight network and by boat, are central to our planning, as is scheduling within the dry-season window. The country gives an extraordinary canvas: the world's largest archipelago, some 17,000 islands, sitting on the Pacific Ring of Fire with around 130 active volcanoes, alongside Komodo National Park, the rainforests of Sumatra and Raja Ampat's marine wilderness in West Papua.

Here is what we have to work with. Jakarta concentrates the studio infrastructure and the skilled unscripted crew base. English is widely used in the film-services sector and strongly so in Bali, easing work with global format owners. The currency is the Indonesian rupiah and VAT is charged at 11%. With over 1,300 ethnic groups and more than 700 languages, Indonesia also gives rich casting diversity for reality shoots seeking authentic, different participants.
